Nicholas Dagostino, 29, was charged on Thursday for shooting a female driver as she was leaving a gas station. He was charged just one day after being released from jail on a bond for shooting another female driver back in July.
The Houston Chronicle reports that Dagostino “had a dim view of women” and considered female drivers to be “incompetent” and has said that women’s only purpose “is to give birth to male children.”
It turns out it goes deeper than that, Dagostino has been caught shooting at cars at least five times in the past.
His victim in July reported to police that “she was pulling into the carwash when she heard a noise and saw that her driver’s-side window was cracked. She assumed it had been hit by a rock, but she later saw blood dripping down her arm, court records say,” according to the Washington Post.
Dagastino told police he shot her because she swerved into his lane, and he had to shoot in self-defense.
Dagastino is currently being held on two bonds totalling $400,000.
