A man claiming to be an American missionary was arrested by police in Uganda this week after he assaulted hotel workers and used racial slurs, the Huffington Post reports.
Video of the incident shows 69-year-old Jimmy L. Taylor hitting hotel workers and telling them to obey his orders.
The Arizona man, seemingly drunk, is seen smashing glasses and insulting workers at the lobby of the Grand Imperial Hotel in the Ugandan capital Kampala, all because he wanted to get his room key.
Then he calls one of the workers “n***er b***h” adding “You’re not a human” as he smacks the worker in the back of the head, while ranting about how Ugandans hate Jesus.
“F**k Uganda,” Taylor shouts. “I’ve come to love Uganda, I’ve come to help Uganda, but Uganda hates Jesus through this son-of-a-bitch.”
Taylor was detained at the Central Police Station in Kampala, where he told police he is a former marine and explained his rampage was due to his mental illness. The American is being charged with assault, according to the police’s official Twitter account.
