President Donald Trump complained about the universal mockery he received for using a phrase that haunts former President George W. Bush after he ordered a strike on Syria Friday.
“The Syrian raid was so perfectly carried out, with such precision, that the only way the Fake News Media could demean was by my use of the term ‘Mission Accomplished,’” Trump wrote. “I knew they would seize on this but felt it is such a great Military term, it should be brought back. Use often!”

Just as his original tweet, Trump’s latest declaration was met with plenty of ridicule.

Nothing meaningful has happened. There is NO change in Syrian government as a result of this. Assad and Russia are now stronger. You’ve done nothing except WASTE 240 million dollars. Your tweets are still childish & you are still under investigation, so live with that, genius! 🙄

What a howl! Like your strikes last year accomplished anything. You just bombed to distract. Telescoped it for days so Syrians & Russians moved their people & supplies elsewhere. So you targeted the empty buildings

I'll be using it for sure! When you're impeached.

Come on man can’t you or staff come up with something original other than that. You copied another presidents saying. On top of that this is the 2nd time in two years that you bombed this country. What did you accomplish over there. It’s not working Trump. Want to try again sir.

You didn’t get Congressional approval. You warned Russia to “get ready”. Syria has been gassing it citizens since the last time you bombed them so why now? This was (another) failed attempt to distract from the dumpster fire you call an administration.
