Donald Trump declared the only “cheating” could win Hillary Clinton the state of Pennsylvania, a state where he’s down by double-digits.
Speaking at a rally in Altoona, Trump told rally-goers, “The only way we can lose Pennsylvania is if cheating goes on.”
“That’s the way we can lose the state.
“We have to be very, very careful about our day.”
“I’m heard some stories about certain parts of the state.”
“We have to call up law enforcement. We have to have the sheriffs and the police and the law enforcement officers watching.”
Trump is currently down double-digits in Pennsylvania according to every poll that’s come out this month.
Trump, who previously touted polls more than anyone on earth when he was leading in them, now appears to not fully understand how they work.
Discussing recent polls that show him down by similar margins in Virginia, Trump noted that he was still drawing large crowds at his rallies. Because of this, he thinks polls are “not giving us the credit.”
Trump went on to say it was “shocking” that states like Pennsylvania don’t have any voter ID laws.
“Without voter ID there’s no way you’re going to be able to check in properly,” he said.
“I’m supposed to be a smart person. I have yet to understand how you can’t approve voter identification at least in some form.”
