On Monday, President Donald Trump signed yet another executive order, this time paring back federal regulations by imposing a rule requiring feds to throw out two regulations for every new regulation it creates.
“This will be the biggest such act that our country has ever seen. There will be regulation, there will be control, but it will be normalized control,” Trump told reporters at the White House, surrounded by small business owners who had minutes before listened to Trump rant about Chuck Schumer’s “fake tears.”
The bill also provides zero dollars in funding for new regulations for fiscal year 2017.
Trump’s latest regulation fulfills a promise made on the campaign trail to cut back regulations to help spark business.
